Morzine: the French skiing experience

Snow fun for all ages

Skiing in Morzine is an authentic French experience. The traditional Alpine ski resort is located in the Haute-Savoie department of France. Situated in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, Morzine is only a 1.5-hour drive away from the airport of Geneva.

The ski resort is steeped in history, with the first skiers coming to the resort almost a century ago. Today, it is one of the most popular ski areas in the French Alps. It’s right in the middle of the Portes du Soleil ski area, one of the most extensive ski regions of the Alps. It connects 15 resorts in two countries and boasts a total of 650 kilometres of slopes.

Morzine itself is a pretty Savoyard town with charming old buildings and more than 100 restaurants. In terms of skiing skills, the resort offers something for everyone: from relaxed beginners’ slopes to challenging black runs.

The good news: Whether you’re a first-timer on skis or an accomplished rider, the INTERSPORT rental shops in Morzine have the right kind of equipment for you.
